Community Snapshots

North Powder held its annual Christmas parade and tree lighting Sunday, December 7, 2025. Hot chocolate and apple cider were served at the library. Afterward, hay rides were provided to the Fire Station for chili.

The North Powder High School held its Homecoming last week with a city parade.

The North Powder City Library held a Face Paining and Banana Split event during its 2025 Summer Reading Program

A groundbreaking ceremony for our new library was held May 15, 2025. From left, Joezette Weems, library assistant; Roger Townsend, library board member; Mike Schoeningh, library board president; John Frieboes, mayor; Joyce Lawyer, library board member; Midge Clause, city councilor; Don McClure, city councilor; and Lisa Aichele, library director.

Wolfcreek Community lunch is served on Fridays at 12 noon for a donation of $5.

Our temporary library at City Hall is open for business.
